About Us

A Message From the Pastor:

Kim RyanHello, my name is Kim Ryan and I am the Lead Pastor of North County Christ the King. Often people ask me, "So what kind of church is North County Christ the King?" They want me to put some kind of label on us so that they can identify what kind of church we really are. More and more, this is what I am telling people: North County Christ the King is a life-giving, purpose driven, mission filling community of Jesus lovers. Now that's a mouthful, but that's what we are trying to be. Our shared goal is to help one another become the transformed person Jesus died for us to be. In fact, our mission statement as a church is only nine words:

"Transforming Real People into Real Followers of Jesus Christ"

We are all about the transforming life Christ alone offers, not rules or tradition. We are all about building a life-giving relationship with the One who came to give life.
