Get Involved:  Volunteer!

One of the best ways to get connected at North County Christ the King, and to grow in your walk with Christ, is to volunteer.  We have many opportunities, and we’ve listed a few of them here.  But if you have a skill or talent you’d like to share, or you want to explore your options, we welcome the chance to meet with you and help you find your fit.  Choose from the options below, OR click here to contact us.

Volunteer Opportunities

Click here if you are interested in signing up to help in the church office, or with Acts of Kindness (visiting or helping people); jumping in to work on occasional projects, or helping with events.  This is also a good place to start if you don’t know where God is calling you to serve!

Click here if you are a cook or a baker, and you love to bless people by using your culinary skills.  Help make a meal for someone who is just home from the hospital, or after a loss; be on the teams that provide food for the volunteers who lead worship, or the team that leads the youth ministry; join with others who help bless New Way Ministries with an occasional meal and a visit.

Other ways to serve the Community

These opportunities are not offered by North County Christ the King Church, but many of our church family members participate in their activities:

  • “Be the One” Mentoring Program

One of the greatest influences on a student’s success is the attention of a committed adult mentor.  Invest just one hour a week, and you will positively influence a young person’s life.  For more information, check out this Lynden Tribune article:  http://www.lyndentribune.com/news/kids-mentored-lives-changed/article_7290d470-8790-5d79-b0a1-97fe860e5a0a.html  Contact:  info@partnersforschools.org   (360) 305-9568   http://www.betheonetoday.org/
