7 FOUNDATIONS FOR CHANGE ONE DAY WOMEN’S SEMINAR
SATURDAY JULY 8, 9:00AM-12:00PM • CONNECTION CORNER

Ladies, have you ever felt stuck in a pattern you couldn’t quite shake off? If you answered yes, then the one day 7 Foundations for Change is the seminar for you. The focus will be on gaining lasting change mainly for those who struggle in the areas of food but can also include fear, anger, people-pleasing, and forgiveness. Class will be taught by author Christie Miller and will be based on her new book, The 7 Foundations For Change.

There is no charge for the seminar but Christie’s book will be available for purchase. Sorry, no childcare available. Contact michelle.flint@ncctk.com.

 

Women’s Thursday Bible Study

 

Join us for this 5 week inductive Bible study Thursday mornings starting June 22nd at 10 am in the Family Room. This study will dive deep into the story of Ruth and how it relates to the rest of scripture. Additionally, the study will examine the nature and character of God to help us grow in our faith and awe of our Creator.  Books are $5 and will be given at the first class. On-Going Ways to Connect

 

monday-moms_logo_72Moms, join us as we grow deeper in our walk with Christ and learn from each other. All moms are welcome no matter the ages of their children. We meet  during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 12:30-2:00 pm in Kids Place. The time will be split between a play date for kids and break out sessions for moms. We also have Child  Evangelism Fellowship for our kiddos who are 3+ from 12:45 to 1:45 pm. We are taking a break from our regular schedule but will be meeting a couple of times this summer for play dates with our children. Christian Women Write!

TypewriterLooking for a way to express your God-given creativity, and your desire to write? All experience levels are welcome-even dreamers. Leaders Robyn Burke and Anita van der Elst offer writing prompts and skill-builders, as well as great community. For learning and encouragement join this creative group on the third Saturday of the month in the Connection Corner from 10-11:30am.

Sewing Love

PrintSewing Love is a unique opportunity to bless families in our church in a very tangible way. Sewing Love makes quilts for baby dedications and participates in many other sewing service projects.

Regardless of your sewing experience, you are invited to join this wonderful service – based group Mondays from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the Family Room. Contact Bev Cooke (360) 354-6946  This groups is taking a break for the Summer but will resume in the Fall.

Arms of Love 

If you or someone you know have experienced the hurt of a past abortion, Arms of Love is a safe place where you can receive understanding, help, and healing. This small group is led by women who have had abortions and can relate to your experience, but now have discovered the forgiveness, acceptance and love that Christ offers. Resources for men and men’s support group are also available.
