Blessing Place is a great place for our littlest guests to learn about Jesus! It’s a fun environment for our teachers and kids alike. Infants, toddlers and two’s are taught the ways of the Lord through prayer, worship, group time, activities and the Word of God. Our goal is to help little hearts prepare to receive Jesus and experience His love. All rooms are cleaned and sanitized weekly, and the toys are sanitized after every service.
Nursery (Noah’s Ark Room)
This room is especially designed for the little ones ages newborn to walking. It is meant to be a loving environment. Our volunteers sing, play and pray with the babies as they begin to learn about Jesus’ love. We take great care of your precious one during the service so you have the chance to get fed by the Spirit in peace. Please make sure that you have a diaper bag including the following items: at least 1 diaper, a pre-made bottle or snacks, a change of clothes, a pacifier and or anything other item that will aid in comforting your baby through the service. Only women are allowed to change diapers in the nursery.
Toddlers Room (Woodland Room)
When those first steps begin they get to discover a brand new room! They will be just one door down from the Nursery. The toddlers get to play with the toys and have a snack (Cheerios). There is not a set curriculum in this room, but we do have monthly posters that give songs and games for the volunteers to play with the kids to promote their love for Jesus. Diaper bags are still needed in this room, so please make sure to label all your sippy cups and/or snack containers.
Two’s Room (Ocean Room)
Your precious one is turning two and again moving to a new room. The two year old room is the last room in the Blessing Place hallway. This room is more structured with a set curriculum and craft because the kids are growing up and learning more all the time! We start the day with free play time and then we all sit down at the tables for story time, craft and snack (animal crackers or Cheerios). This part of the service is about 15-20 minutes in length. After table time is over, we let the kids get their wiggles out either with singing, playing game or free play time again. Once in a while they will get to watch a movie.
This is the time when potty training starts, so please bring a diaper and a change of clothes just in case your child happens to have an accident during service. Please let the volunteers know if they will need to ask your little one if they need to try to use the restroom during service. We have two little toilets in the rooms for their use. If the child is potty training and needs the restroom, a female teacher will take the child to restroom located in the back of the room. The door will remain open and the teacher will stand outside the door until the child needs assistance.

Children are a gift from God and are precious to Him. Dedicating our children to the Lord is an important covenant we make before God. It is through baby dedication that parents make this covenant and publicly proclaim their faith in Christ and their commitment to pass their faith on to their children. As a church, we desire to help you succeed in this parenting journey. For this reason we have prepared a packet to assist you in understanding what baby dedication is all about. It contains our policies and other important aspects of baby dedication. Please take the time to read it over and fill out the form to dedicate your child. When you are done filling out the application, please return it to the front office during the week or any Children’s Ministry counter during a service.
