Vision - The PEACE Plan

Our Dream: To surround the throne of God and Jesus Christ the Lamb with multitudes of people from every tongue, tribe and nation.

How are we going to do that? By getting focused, using our time, energy and resources to the very best of our ability and using the P.E.A.C.E. plan as our guide for implementation. The P.E.A.C.E. Plan is the strategic focus of planting churches, equipping leaders, assisting the poor, caring for the sick and educating the illiterate, if we do these five things in each country we can attack the five global giants of spiritual lostness: corrupt leaders, poverty, illness, disease and illiteracy. Using this method and with wisdom we received from God and our advisor Fred Markert we are proceeding with the implementation of these methods in our Focus areas.

There are seven Focus areas for missions. First we start at home supporting church planters, and we equip leaders through programs like the Dream Realization School, Young Life and Praise 106.5. We're assisting the poor by supporting Habitat for Humanity - a ministry that builds houses for families in need and through the Whatcom County Pregnancy Center we are saving lives by educating parents-to-be.

The local field is a critical one and a place we don't want to ignore - and we don't have to. It is our hope and challenge to mobilize small groups, children's ministry, youth ministry and all groups here at North County Christ the King into action at least once a month, either by volunteering time to help at one of these organizations or helping others identified through personal contacts. As a congregation we want to serve our community and bring many to the saving knowledge of Christ.
