Current Opportunities to Support Orphans
- Support an orphanage overseas
- Look into the blessing of adoption for your family
- Support an adoptive family
- Support Beacon House Orphanage in ACCRA, GHANA
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
- Support a Foster Family: be a mentor / big brother or big sister to a foster child or foster teen.
- Fill a "Comfort Bag" for Foster Children: pack a bag of necessities and gifts for kids when initially placed in care.
- Appreciate Social Workers working with kids in crisis. The Appreciation Project (T.A.P. ) - providing goodies and a note of encouragement to be taken to DSHS office 2x a month as a thank you.
- Look into the blessing of Foster Care for your family.
Financial Opportunities:
- Comfort Bag / T.A.P. Office Supplies $25 (covers supplies for 1 month's outreach)
- NWWF Outreach $750 (Fair Booth Rental and Estimated Publication Expenses)
- Website Development $1500 (estimate) to help us communicate more effectively and efficiently in caring for kids in crisis
One-time and/or Monthly Opportunities:
- $10 could go toward the cost of cooking fuel
- $15 provides medicine for HIV positive child: (includes transportation costs!)
- $25 will buy a goat for a needy family
- $100 will buy a bicycle for a child who otherwise could not get to school
- $100 could go toward setting up a small business for a struggling young mother
- $100 provides lab work for a child
- $250 provides lab work for an HIV positive child
- $250 could feed all the kids at BH for a week!
- $500 could feed all the kids at BH for 2 weeks!
- $1000 or more could help us build our new facility or a grinding mill that would provide for a whole village!
