Believing Jesus Bible Study

What does it mean to believe Jesus? Not just believe in Jesus, but actually believe what He said - and shape our lives around that truth? How would that affect the choices we make? In this eight-session video Bible study, Believing Jesus by Lisa Harper looks at the lives of the believers in Acts and how Jesus’ command to spread the gospel forever shaped their lives.

Brand New: A 40-Day Guide to Life in Christ

One of the greatest blessings in our Christian walk is discovering God's truths through the reading and study of His word. If you are a new Christian, new to sharing your faith, or desire to refocus your daily walk with the Lord, "Brand New" is the bible study for you. Shilo Taylor, author of Brand New: A 40-Day Guide to Life in Christ will lead a ladies 8 week study beginning Monday, Oct. 2nd, at 10 am in the Connection Corner. Child care available for birth-5yrs. Sewing Love is a unique opportunity to bless families in our church in a very tangible way. Sewing Love makes quilts for baby dedications and participates in many other sewing service projects. Regardless of your sewing experience, you are invited to join this wonderful service-based group.

Looking for a way to express your God-given creativity, and your desire to write? All experience levels are welcome—even dreamers. Co-facilitators Robyn Burke and Anita van der Elst offer writing prompts and skill-builders, as well as great community.

Attention single ladies (45+ ) join this group for fellowship and fun on the last Sunday of every month, 3:00-5:00pm in the Connection Corner. Feel free to bring a snack to share and we hope to see you there.

If you or someone you know have experienced the hurt of a past abortion, Arms of Love is a safe place where you can receive understanding, help, and healing. This small group is led by women who have had abortions and can relate to your experience, but now have discovered the forgiveness, acceptance and love that Christ offers. Resources for men and men’s support group are also available. Mom Break is a group of mothers of any age and stage seeking encouragement. Come join us Tuesday mornings beginning September 26th at 10:00 - 11:30 AM in the Connection Corner! We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

Our teens have a lot to contend with these days for which they could use prayer support. This is where Moms in Prayer comes in. If serving God through knitting sounds like something you would enjoy then we have a group for you. Lita Perera brings women together to knit sweaters, scarves, gloves/mittens, and more to send to orphans in Nepal and India through KidsTown International. Experienced knitters as well as those wishing to learn are welcome. Knitters meet the first Friday of every month starting October 6, 10:00-11:30am at 881 Garden Dr, Lynden.
